The Clown
His nose was red and his cheeks were too
His brain was big, just like his shoes.
His mind, was burdened, which was then worsened
Every time he was mocked, every time he spoke
He was harassed and embarrassed, but had no choice
All he had, were is clownish looks, and his stupid voice.
His mood was blue and his shoes were too
His eyes were brown, and he always frowned
People would shout, turn it upside down!
And the clown replied, I’m not gonna lie
It’s cos I think that my mouth is round.
The crowd then laughed, cos his humour was dark
No applause, just laughs, were the only sound.
His mood was green, from things he’d seen
He envied the ones, who put him down.
He hated their jeers, but to save him from tears
He desired that they, not burn him with words
But replace, thrown insults, with spears.

THE CLOWN
I LIKED IT TOO! SAD,YET SARCASTIC. YOUR WRITING IS FINE MAYBE JUST TAKE A MINUTE EACH DAY AND LEARN THE DEFINITION OF ONE WORD TO EXPAND YOUR VOCABULARY?
The only difference between a grave and a rut is that one has an open end!
Just keep moving, writing, whatever it takes! You've got it sussed!

He has got a natural understanding
Of rhythm and timing and rhyme. Also, very creative and original subject matter.
I agree with Aesthetic Night, about trying to expand the vocabulary but that goes for every poet here and reading the poems in the stream daily will totally help with that. The more words you read, the greater the chances are of learning new ones.

Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I just need to take more time writing, and yeah, use a wider range of words. It's not that I don't read others poems or read in general. Just that don't always put as much effort and time as I should do. Will take your advice on board for future poems.
