Chit Chat

The little songbird does not enter
sunrise with fear
having slept through the night
with his ancestral doubt.

He is not troubled by who listens
and if there are others of his kind
to join in perfect harmony.

He just sings and sings as if daylight itself
depended on his song.

And the song meets the ear
the ear hears the heart
and the heart hears the pauses
in the smallest of
ceremonies,
a vibrancy of unconditional grace,
tugging
the tuning fork of the sattvic mind.

Love rearranges all things.
We chit chat with the rain.
We are strangers here
and we've been here before
and again.

...this is simply "lovely", and I do not have a grand preponderence for using "lovely", alot! I am sincere, in my assessment....I assure you.
In the most gentleness of ways, you've captured both-the importance of even the smallest of moments...and the severity of the grandest of measures, in the scheme of things....and, I applaud you!
Nice turnings of "said phrases", really.
Thanx, you've helped make my day;
doc.

A simple yet lovely way to greet the dawn, then to drift into the real world of us to find errors in others ways that make us think all is not right..
I love the word "sattvic" such a way in just one word, Maybe Wesley was right when he said that English fell behind other languages when writing words of poetry (But I am English so support it for ever LOL)..
Yours Ian.T

"Sattvic"
Hinduism . characterized by sattva: having a serene, harmonious, balanced mind or attitude. (love it)

.
There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

Hi Ian, I think the more we venture out of what we know, our language, our ideas, our beliefs, the vaster the space of the unknown. It is here we come into fruition, so to speak. ;-)

Please ask how Larry, Michael, Spencer, and my mom and dad are if they're still available. Thanks.
