AWAITING AN ECHO

I come on line here
and there awaits
anticipation.

I know it isn't to come
yet I still wait for
at least an echo

Alas I wait in vain
for those smooth flowing lines
from that transplanted yankee
but I Stiil wait

*It will be a while before I come to full realization of Lonnie no longer dropping by here....or anywhere

Esker and Lonnie were here before I came and it just doesn't feel right without them

I can sense what you are feeling...

when you and I were
dawn to dawn
man
when I am also gone
say my ''obituary''
now when alive
eulogy would have no meaning
anyhow
loved was!!!!ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........>>>>>>

The thing about Lonnie was I never even knew he was sick. But you talk about being on the edge so much for so long that one doesn't know what is truly happening lol

author comment

at our age
we have some or the other ailment
may not be instant but....
heaven knows
poets only compose...
I ain't that sick
but still u never know

right up until they decompose..............
