It may well have been but I think it was actually judged before the updates occurred. I reckon once the judging is done the author is free to edit all they want. After all it's Their poem and this Is a workshop site.
Now , as to editing before judging , this is acceptable since there is always a 3-4 day period between when contest is closed to new entries and the final judging occurs. Indeed this 3-4 day period is specifically in place to prevent judge from having to worry about last minute entries or edits.
