What the .... ?

II am beginning to wonder if the guidelines really mean anything, it seems as long as you are perceived to be a talented poet you can be as nasty as you like and abuse the rules in general, and you can expect to return.

I realise that I was willing to accept mr crud's apology, but now I find a third person has been allowed to return, and I feel it is making a mockery of the rules.

I have no idea about either but have been reading the said comments about each on site. I think guidelines can be misconstrued as only needing to be 'almost' rules...perhaps it creates a grey area that needs to be cleaned up...the one reason I liked the idea of being here was the fact you could NOT have more than one account which on Allpoetry was not the case and was quite often abused and also used for alterior motives which was not to my liking. But perhaps a quick review with the site board is warranted to clear this one up with a final say from Andrew etc. It might save alot of angst. xx

Whether you call them rules or guidelines they have obviously been set for a purpose.

I think your closing comment is correct.
