just now dealing with the ex's that I still
undeniably in love with

all my good and bad and ugly sides
thinking I know it all...
feeding the black wolf and white
rationalizing that I need them
for this work
of life and living..

"Anapaest" ( For bottom workshop)

"Anapaest"

An anapaest:-
Also spelled anapæst or anapest, also called antidactylus.
Is a metrical foot used in formal poetry.
In classical quantitative meters it consists of:-

Two short syllables followed by a long one;

In accentual stress meters it consists of two unstressed syllables followed by one stressed syllable

It may be seen as a reversed dactyl.

Because of its length and the fact that it ends with a stressed syllable and so allows for strong rhymes, anapaest can produce a very rolling, galloping feeling verse.

A nonet

"As if I am flying in the air,
a pioneer! I'm ambitious.
All my tutors tell me so,
do not  think I'm bumptious."

That's all that he said
then fell asleep
with angels
my sweet
child.

"On Wesley's assertion that originality is nigh impossible I remind you of the virtually infinite combinations of words possible. This quote from a classic Stephen Fry sketch sums it up-

What happened to Chat?

A while back it seemed like almost every night there was some kind of chat room going on whether it be themed or just get together. So what happened? Why has chat been discontinued? Did everyone suddenly get bored with it or what? Seems like the only thing going on now is the one big workshop started by WeirdElf . I for one, used to enjoy the chat sessions, so how about bringing back at least one a week for the Giffer, huh?

A farewell letter...

I sent August a farewell letter
and begged it not to come back again
unless its summer's sun-so hot,
is substituted by graceful rain.

Lol...Not a fan of Summer. It has been between 45○-50○ for more than three months now and still continues for two more in this part of my world.

I'm nobody! Who are you?

By Emily Dickinson
I like to share this work by Emily Dicknson. "A little Gem"  I'd say. Simple yet very impressive.

I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us -don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
